See the blue roof in the photo above? That’s the Maratua Guesthouse Restaurant, which overlooks the sea. Since this photo was taken, we’ve built four bungalows to the right of the restaurant. The views are spectacular with turtles swimming below and stunning sunsets over the Celebes Sea. We’ve been called the most unique Indonesian hotel on Kalimantan. While we’re not a hotel or a resort, we do offer our guests warm Indonesian hospitality and the opportunity to commune with nature. As you can see, Maratua Island is remote and undeveloped. We are surrounded by jungle and are blessed with our own private beach. We look forward to welcoming you to one of the last true paradise islands in the world.
